01 · Overview
Tier 1 · Alpha · developed by We-Trust · live since December 2022
Pure Alpha is We-Trust's own systematic trading strategy. It trades three liquid markets — the Nasdaq-100, the Russell 2000 and silver — using one set of rules, fully automated, with a live track record since December 2022.
It is the alpha signal set. It stands on its own, and partners can offer it to their investors that way. Where high volume is wanted, the separate High Volume FX Layer can be added on top in partner configurations; the Pure Alpha rule set and markets stay the same.
The live record runs on a real-money USD account at MetaTrader 5 and is tracked by Myfxbook, at the 1× reference risk setting. Partners can step exposure up towards 5× in defined steps.
Key facts
02 · Live record · 1× risk setting
Real USD account, MetaTrader 5, fully automated. First trade 30 December 2022, data as of 4 September 2026.
Myfxbook, 30 Dec 2022 – 4 Sep 2026, 1× Pure Alpha risk setting. Performance reflects execution without additional spread or pricing markups.
03 · Trade profile
Pure Alpha trades both directions almost equally, with a similar hit rate on each side. Positions are short-lived: the average trade lasts under two hours.
04 · The strategy
The three markets are non-correlated and often move against each other. Holding all three does not stack the same risk three times, which is what keeps drawdowns small.
US large-cap equity index
The 100 largest non-financial companies listed on Nasdaq. Concentrated in technology and growth, and the highest-beta equity leg of the portfolio.
US small-cap equity index
Two thousand US small-capitalisation companies. Driven by a different factor and liquidity regime to large-cap technology, and frequently out of phase with it.
Precious and industrial metal
A metal carrying both monetary and industrial demand, priced outside the equity complex. The portfolio's non-equity leg.

06 · Risk & execution
Pure Alpha signals come with the same risk engine, copier and dashboard as TL Alpha, to run on your side. Every control is checked before an order reaches your broker.

No new trades around high-impact events such as CPI, FOMC and NFP. Open positions are closed before the event; trading resumes after.
Hard stop on every position, placed at the broker. Any position without a stop is closed immediately. No grids, no martingale, no averaging down.
Lot cap per clip, scaled with the account. Caps on open positions and total exposure; one position per symbol per direction.
Monthly drawdown breaker set well inside the mandate limit, optional weekend flatten and a master kill switch for every connected account.
Read-only investor login at all times, a live dashboard with every trade and halt, and a monthly report exportable to PDF.

01 · Overview
Tier 1 · Alpha · strategy partner TL · live since April 2026
TL Alpha is the alpha tier of strategy partner TL: twenty-five strategies across three families, on 1-hour and 4-hour charts. It trades USDJPY, gold and the major indices, holding positions for hours to days with 0.2% of balance at risk per trade.
Machine-built, machine-tested. Hundreds of thousands of strategies are generated, stress-tested and discarded; only the survivors trade. Backtests run on tick data, and out-of-sample data from January 2025 was held back from strategy building.
The signals come from a live master account. Partners copy them onto their client accounts at any broker, with a custom risk profile per account, through a risk engine that checks every order before it reaches the broker.

01 · Overview
Tier 2 · Volume · strategy partner TL · in build
The High Volume FX Layer is a separate FX-only component built for high trading volume. It runs alongside an alpha product in partner configurations, and its purpose is to generate rebate revenue for the manager.
Around fifty small mean-reversion instances trade the FX majors on 5- and 15-minute charts. Each trade lasts fifteen to sixty minutes, which clears any minimum-hold rule, with 0.05–0.1% of balance at risk. The layer is designed to run close to flat.
It is not part of the alpha engine. The alpha product underneath, Pure Alpha or TL Alpha, keeps its own rules, markets and signals. The layer is switched on only in partner configurations where it is agreed.

05 · Costs & conditions
Trading cost
Every lot carries spread and commission. The layer is designed to run close to flat, but its trading result is a cost to the account: about −0.75% per month at 5–10k lots in the TL model, carried by the alpha tier, or by the account when the layer runs on its own.
Disclosure
Rebates are agreed with the broker, split according to the partner agreement and disclosed to investors. Volumes and rebates are indicative targets, not a guarantee.
Availability
The layer runs in PAMM/MAM and other partner set-ups, only where agreed, on top of an alpha product or on its own; without it, the alpha product runs on its own. From $50,000 per account; the layer is in build and will be available as soon as possible.
